Food for Thought: A Taste of Careers in the Culinary Arts
In this educational program, the Universal Orlando Resort™ executive chef team and other industry experts take students behind the scenes to learn about the food flow process. From purchasing to receiving, from the warehouse to the theme park restaurants, students learn about food safety and storage, preparation, presentation, and careers in the industry. The program includes tours of the warehouse and cold storage areas, the production kitchen and bakery, and a look at banquet garnishes and displays, allowing students to explore the tasks, responsibilities and opportunities of each potential career path.
