Combine a day of thrilling rides with the excitement of performing in a unique setting as you march through Universal Studios Florida theme park. Your marching band will represent your school with pride as you take to the streets lined with cheering theme park guests.

Select Nights November through January
Bring your group to Universal Studios Florida to warm up the streets, as they march prior to our holiday parade. This is a unique opportunity for your group, where Santa Claus is going to have his hands full as the Minions bring merry and mayhem to the parade, along with Dreamworks characters from Madagascar and Shrek. Universal partners with Macy’s to bring this parade experience to life.

What to Know before Applying

General Information

Participating groups should have a minimum of 40 performers. Each group should submit a completed application 90-days prior to the proposed performance date. Along with the completed applications, groups should provide the following:

URL or link to a video of your group’s most recent performance featuring the uniform that will be worn during the group's performance (approx. 3 minutes in length for each performing group).
A written script of any spoken material to be used during the performance.
A complete list of titles of the music that will be performed or played during the performance.

Musical selections will need to be approved by Universal Orlando Resort prior to the group’s performance. Theme park tickets are required.

Performance Details

All groups must submit photos of their performance attire for approval at least 90 days prior to your group’s arrival
Recognizable character costumes and mascot costumes are not permitted.
Performance attire associated with other theme parks and their subsidiaries are not permitted.
Matching polos, t-shirts, pants, shorts or other matching resort style attire is permitted (No jeans)
Due to the extreme heat in Florida, we recommend Marching Bands refrain from wearing full dress uniforms.
Director’s attire is at your discretion (suit jacket and tie are not required)

Check These Application Requirements off Your List

Performance groups must be a minimum size of 40 including non-performers.
Groups outside the state of Florida are required to purchase a minimum of a 2-Day Park-to-Park ticket. For groups within Florida, a minimum of a 1-Day Park-to-Park ticket is required.
Theme Park admission is required for the day of your program.
The number of chaperones cannot exceed the number of youth.
You will be notified of your program time 2-3 weeks prior to your performance.
All performers must be at college level or below.
All performers must be in uniform or costume.
Please provide a recent video link of your group performing from within the past year.
Recognizable character costumes or performances representing such characters or animated films are not permitted. School mascots are permitted only after approval.
Marching performances are up to 1 mile in length and routes may vary.
